To compile cobole bellow given steps

Open CMD and set given Path

Step 1. Set Ps_Home=E:\pt853

Step 2.Set Cobroot="C:\programefile*86\microfocus\NetExp5.1\Base"

Step 3. Create an empty folder in C: Drive named as temp

Step 4. E:\pt853\setup\cblsrc  E:\pt853  C:\temp

Step 5. Make a folder in Ps_Home named as CBLBINA

Step 6. Copy all files of temp folder in C: Drive to E:\pt853\CBLBINA

Step 7. Open CMD and set E:\pt853\CBLBINA

Step 8. E:\pt853\CBLBINA  CBLMAKE

Upgradation of PeopleTool 8.54 to 8.54.05 Using Change Assistant

Within PeopleTool Update(8.54->8.54.05)

 There is no additional requirement of  PreRelease like 8.54.01 to 8.54.04.

We can directly move on 8.54.05 from 8.54

1. Create an Empty folder named pt85405 on your system. 

1.2 Copy 85405.zip into pt85405 folder, and extract the contents of the ZIP file into this same folder.

1.3 Shut down any application servers, web servers, Process Scheduler servers, and EM Agents that 
are currently running. Completely exit any running  psadmin processes after shutting down your application servers, web servers, and Batch Servers.  Back up your existing PeopleTools 8.54 folders 

2.For Windows:  Run \pt85405\cd85405\Disk1\setup.bat 

3.Provide the license code you used to install the base PeopleTools 8.54 DVD/ZIP, and install the patched components to all of the appropriate PeopleSoft Servers (Application Server, Batch Server, Database Server, Web Server, and File Server). 

4.Install the patch on top of your existing high-level PeopleSoft folder. (Note: Ensure you created a back-up of your <PS_HOME> as indicated in step 1 first, so that you can restore any pre-existing files or configuration if unforeseen trouble occurs.) 

5.Install the 8.54.05 version of Change Assistant found in <PS_HOME>\setup\PsCA 

6.Apply the PTP85405 PeopleTools Package through Change Assistant using the graphical interface, within the Update Manager mode, under 'Apply a Patch to Your Current PeopleTools Release'.
